We’re in week 5/10 of our journey down memory lane in celebration of our new website! Today, we’re reflecting on Hills College’s HPE Precinct.
As architects deeply invested in community-driven design, we are thrilled to announce that the Hills College HPE Precinct is now under construction! The project promises to enhance the educational landscape and foster a sense of belonging within the Hills College community in Logan, Queensland.
One of the primary objectives of this project is to promote physical activity and well-being among the Hills College community. The addition of outdoor sports courts and performance stage provide a dedicated precinct for various athletic endeavours, primarily basketball, volleyball, netball, and dance.
Beyond the physical structures themselves, the new HPE Precinct is designed to encourage students to engage in healthy recreational activities and foster teamwork and sportsmanship.
Due for completion later this year, the project will serve as a catalyst for community engagement and interaction with a new stage designed to cater to dance and other performances, as well as school gatherings.
We congratulate Rohrig on being awarded the building contract and look forward to providing further updates as construction progresses, and as the project completes!
